Bomet Senator Hillary Sigei and other mourners trooped to the home of Engineer Kosgei to console him after his beloved wife died in a terrible accident on April 5.

How did the accident happen?

According to preliminary investigations, a private car that was reportedly ferrying revellers from a celebration was being driven recklessly and had loud distractions.

At the home of the engineer, Sigei hugged and consoled the widower, who cried in pain, were unable to comprehend what had just happened to his beloved family.
How did Governor Hillary Barchock react?
Other mourners were also being consoled over the deaths and were crying publicly as well.
In his reaction to the accident, Governor Hillary Barchok observed that rescue teams responded swiftly and victims were taken to nearby hospitals. He added that calls were made for stricter traffic enforcement in the black spot area.
