Simon Kabu Proudly Supports Daughter Maurine As She Wins Prestigious Award: “Beyond Thrilled”

Simon Kabu is the proudest father of 2025 so far after his daughter Maurine Kabu's latest achievements.

The young lady, who is in the same industry as her father, won an award that shows just how far she has come in her journey as a businesswoman.

Maurine wins prestigious award

In a video shared on her Instagram page, Maurine could be seen heading to the stage in the company of her father to receive her Super Woman in Business Award from Dependable Brands Africa.

Maurine won the Youngest Entrepreneur in Kenya award for her role as Adequate Safari's CEO, a company that has grown beyond bounds under her leadership.

Maurine appreciated Dependable Brands Africa for the acknowledgement and also thanked her dad, who is also her mentor, for the support, saying he has done a lot of pushing to get her to where she is.

"May God continue to bless you and thank you so much to each an everyone for supporting Adequate Safaris. We do both local and international tours and are ready to serve you. My dad usually says; 'Support my daughter' and I will urge that you do so," she said.

Maurine was happy enough to share her number with the guests and noted that she is ready to serve any tourist.

It was certainly a moment of pride for Simon, who could be seen standing next to his daughter, nearly moved to tears seeing the strides she has made in life.

Maurine also captioned the video, saying:

"I’m beyond thrilled to be honored as the Youngest Entrepreneur in Kenya by Dependable Brands Africa at the Super Women in Business Awards 2025! Grateful for the support and excited to continue breaking boundaries and making an impact in the industry!"

TUKO reached out to Simon Kabu who said it is the best moment to see his child winning.

"This is the Best moment as a father. When your child is winning. It’s a like a moment in school when your child is position one," he said.

Maureen also spoke to who said her dad will always go the extra mile ensure her dreams come true.

She also shared secrets of her success, which she summarised in six Ps.

"May dad will always go extra miles to see me reach where I want. I will be forever grateful. I will summarise them with 6ps, Passion, Prayer, Plan, Persistent, Patience and people," she said.

Maurine treats Rachel Otuoma to vacay

Previously, TUKO.co.ke reported that Maurine warmed hearts after gifting Rachel Otuoma a vacation following the death of her husband, footballer Ezekiel Otuoma.

Rachel lost Ezekiel to motor neurone disease and had a tough period of grieving, with the vacation coming just after his burial.

Maurine said she felt it was just about right to give Rachel some time to help her heal on vacation and noted that she is also a big fan of the TokToker.

The businesswoman also praised Rachel for sticking by her husband's side during the tough years.
