Rish Kamunge Speaks After Legal Woes, Says Friends Stopped Picking Her Calls: "You Are Alone"

TikToker Rish Kamunge has opened up after finding herself in legal woes after Kenyans came out to accuse her of job scams.

What led to Rish Kamunge's arrest

Rish made a comeback and stated that she was still in the business of helping Kenyans travel overseas.

Rish was arrested on March 27 and arraigned in court after it emerged that there were some Kenyans who allegedly got Mauritius jobs through her and were stranded in the said country.

They claimed that the hotel they Rish had booked for them was nonexistent, forcing them to be deported back home.

She was released on KSh 5 million bond even as the investigation into the matter that gained national attention continues.

However while going live on her new TikTok page Rish noted how her close friends ditched her when she got in the legal trouble.

"You are alone. I will just tell you these words, trust in God, You do not have friends. When I got into issues, all my friends ran away. They stopped picking phone calls. Just do whatever, as long as nobody is getting hurt, but you are alone," she said.

She also noted how her phone could not stop ringing forcing her to divert all her calls to different phones.

"The day I went viral, my phones were not free. Until I was connecting and diverting one phone to like five different phones. And then my personal number leaked. I was called by so many people. My God, I had so many phone calls. I have been phoned like that," she added.

Rish also vowed to give her side of the story when the matter in court gets settled as she was barred from speaking about it now.

She was with her friend on TikTok who also encouraged Kenyans to consider the 'favour' that Rish had now that her business was on the spot.

Elsewhere, a Kenyan man disclosed that his grandmother sold all her cows so they could afford to raise the fee to get jobs Rish announced.

John Munju wanted to go work in Canada when he reached out to Rish and she offered to help him.

He did everything that was needed and paid the amount she wanted only for her to go radio silent on him.

After months, he decided to return to Rish's office where he was told that he never managed to secure the Canadian visa.

John was among the many Kenyans who came forward to share their experiences after trying to travel abroad for better opportunities.
