The Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) fraternity is mourning the sudden passing of their consultant anaesthesiologist, Dr Henry Kipyegon Chebii.

When did Dr Henry Kipyegon Chebii Die?
Dr Chebii passed away following a tragic road accident that occurred on April 6, 2025, at 3.25 am along the Eldoret-Kapsabet Road.

MTRH, in a statement dated 6 April and signed by Chief Executive Officer Dr Philip Kirwa, sent heartfelt condolences to the family of the anaesthesiologist and mourned him as a hardworking and conscientious officer.

MTRH mourns anaesthesiologist
“On behalf of Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) Board, Management, Staff, and on my own behalf, I wish to convey our sincere condolences to the family, friends, and relatives of the late Dr Henry Kipyegon Chebii,” read part of the death announcement.
“As you navigate through this time of profound loss, may you find solace in the precious memories you shared with Dr Chebii and in the knowledge that his legacy will continue to shine brightly through the lives he touched. We wish you fortitude and solace, and may the Almighty God grant you strength, courage, and comfort in the days ahead,” added Dr Kirwa.
